Tucked quietly between mountain breeze and city vibes, this Airbnb in Mansourieh offers the perfect balance. It is close enough to Beirut for spontaneous plans, yet distant enough to breathe.
The Apartment
Inside, the apartment unfolds with calm simplicity: a cosy living room, a dining space I happily turned into a writing corner, a soft bedroom, a clean bathroom, a guest toilet, and a small kitchen that catches the scent of citrus when the windows are open. Two balconies offer a choice — one for sunrise, one for sunset.
From one balcony, a beautiful view of the valley of the Beirut River stretches in silence; from the other, terraced clementine trees greet you over a cup of morning coffee.
A kind surprise from the host reminded me that I was in Lebanon, when I received a message that a bowl of fresh clementines were placed for me outside the door.

The Hosts
Some stays are built on convenience; coded locks, zero interaction, nameless entrances.
Others are different because of their hosts.
They live in the same building, one floor beneath. They’re present, kind, and available whenever needed, yet so respectful of your privacy. It brings a soft familiarity to the place, comfort without intrusion.
Distance to Beirut
Despite all the greenery around me, Beirut was barely five minutes away (without traffic) using the inner road along the valley.
A Stay Worth Returning To
The apartment is perfect for single travelers, couples, weekend writers, and anyone who wants quiet without being isolated.
It is a stay I would very much be returning to.
